June Advertising begins.
June - July Applications: applications open at the start of June each year and close mid-July. Register for the Graduate newsletter to receive advice of the open and closing dates.
July - August Telephone interview: If short-listed you will be contacted to discuss any additional information we need that was not covered in your application. You may be contacted for more than one telephone interview - these will be conducted with human resources, a technical and / or hiring manager. Details about each interview will be discussed with you when we book a time slot with you.
July - August Psychological tests: If you are asked to complete these tests we would ask you to do 4 tests for us. One is a personality profile (OPQ) that you will do on line. There are no right or wrong answers to this test but it gives us an idea of your preferred work style. The other three tests give us some information on your numerical, verbal and logical reasoning abilities. These are also undertaken online, and you are likely to be asked to do a verification test a little further along in the selection process.
July - September Medical examination: Health and safety is a priority for us and we want to know that you are fit to work at our operations. For example, if you have asthma, it is not possible to work in aluminium smelters. The medical exam is an important part of that process and is the final step before we make an offer.
